Our financial year aligns with the calendar year and runs from January 1 to December 31. Annual Reports encompassing this period are prepared and submitted to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service.

The PIOJ applies accounting best practices to the maintenance of our financial records, and the reporting of same. We keep meticulous accounts and records, prepare an annual statement of account and also submit estimates of revenue and expenditure for the year to come.

Once we finalize the statements, we submit them to the Minister within three months of the end of each financial year and to both Houses of Parliament. In the event of any special circumstances, the Minister may grant an extension.
