Jamaica Survey of Living Conditions 2023: Overview

The 2023 JSLC sample included 4 442 individuals from 1 719 households. The data were collected using Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) over the period July 2023 to March 2024. The report presents analysis of the data in six chapters—Demographic Characteristics, Household Consumption and Poverty, Health, Education, Housing, and Social Protection. The data are analysed at the household and individual
levels and where applicable, disaggregated by region, socioeconomic quintile, age group and sex.
