National Progress Report for Jamaica on the Implementation of the Montevideo Consensus on Population and Development
The Montevideo Consensus is an agreement adopted by 38 governments in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) after the First Regional Conference on Population and Development held in August 2013 in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The Montevideo Consensus covers significant population and development issues in the LAC and presents a comprehensive guide for future regional
actions. It offers a progressive framework covering ten thematic areas that the LAC governments have agreed to implement.
